Today, we received a call from a concerned parent at a local pool here in Nashville. The parent had just recorded a disturbing video—a man standing in the tree line, filming children as they played in the water.

Within 15 minutes, one of our Nashville-based private investigators was on site.

Our investigator quickly located the man and obtained his license plate number. From there, we ran a thorough background check. What stood out immediately was unusual: the man had two different last names on record.

While it’s common to see multiple last names in background checks on women due to marriage or divorce, it’s rare to see this pattern with men. It raised a red flag. Why would a man change his name?

We kept digging.

Soon, we uncovered a past criminal history that included a six-year prison sentence for kidnapping a female. He also had prior charges for second-degree criminal trespassing and criminal mischief in another state.

Most concerning of all: we discovered this man was employed at the very facility where the pool is located.

We immediately turned over all of this information to the appropriate authorities.

Your Voice Could Save a Life

This brave parent may have saved someone’s child today—just by making a phone call and trusting their instincts.

We urge you:
🛑 If something feels wrong, say something.
📱 Take a video. Make the call.
🚨 Be bold, even if you’re not sure.

Teach your children to:

  • Identify and point out strangers to you
  • Ask for help loudly and clearly in public places
  • Walk behind a fast-food counter and say, “I need help”

There are excellent resources available to help you educate your children on abduction prevention. Here’s one to start with:
